Wednesday, May 15 - National Chocolate Chip Day. We can't let National Chocolate Chip Day pass by without a nod! Members will enjoy complimentary chocolate chip cookies in both buildings all day. Perks of the sweetest kind!

May 4 - 21st Annual Kentucky Derby Day. History Cherokee's 21st annual Kentucky Derby Day Fundraiser will be at The Mill on Etowah in Canton. This event promises an unforgettable day filled with Southern charm, thrilling horse racing on the big screen, and a dash of Derby flair.

Activities include a hat contest, pony pull raffle, Mint Juleps cocktails, and a silent auction. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in colorfully Spring derby attire to enjoy the full spectrum of traditional derby faire!

May 16 Family Fun Night Series - Fairy Tale Night. The Family Fun Night series returns for its third season of themed night goodness throughout Summer 2024. This event series takes place on the third Thursday of the month – May through August – from 5pm to 9pm. Activities take place throughout Downtown Woodstock, culminating in a movie on the Woodstock Arts Event Green. May's magical night will see fairy tales come to life in Downtown Woodstock! It will be a night of wonder and magic, featuring the movie "Shrek."

May 18 Veteran Block Party. Hosted by the Rally Point Grille, this all-day event features food, games, & fun, including a veteran-owned business market and, at 6pm, a veteran honor ceremony! Bring the whole family to celebrate those who have served our nation.

May 19 Sip & Savor Event. Goin'Solo Events is partnering with Rally Foundation, a nonprofit that "empowers volunteers across the country to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures."

This is a FREE, all-ages event offering over 40 vendors, food trucks, live music including acoustic sets, electric violinist, and of course, wine

May 31 Morning INfluence. Morning Influence is a networking event which includes breakfast and a brief presentation that focuses on updates given by Greater Woodstock on important issues or services offered that affect the community as a whole.
