Member Spotlight: Dina Onstott [Kennedy Lenart Spraggins, LLP]

I have built an extensive paralegal career, with the past decade focused on specializing in intellectual property law, with a particular focus on patent law. My days are primarily dedicated to managing U.S. and foreign patent docketing, filing, and prosecution. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Western Michigan University and an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate from Davenport University.

I have over 16 years of experience working in both small and large law firms, with roles spanning locations from Kalamazoo, MI, Chicago, IL to Greenville, SC. I have been with Kennedy Lenart Spraggins, LLP (KLS), a boutique IP law firm based in Austin, TX, coming up on two years. KLS provides top-tier IP services to clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to innovative startups, offering tailored solutions in patent portfolio development, domestic and foreign patent preparation, trademark preparation, licensing, and litigation.

January 14 Cherokee Chamber Business After Hours. This is a great networking opportunity to kick off your new year! Time and location: 4:30 - 6:30 pm at History Cherokee in Canton. 2025 Standing Reservations are available for $55 and may be purchased at link below.

If you do not have a standing reservation, pricing for the January event is as follows:

Chamber Members (advance): $7

Chamber Members (on-site): $12

Future Members: $12

Advance registration is due by 5 PM on Friday, 1/10

January 21 Cherokee County Power Hour. Prepare for an hour of fast-paced networking with fellow business leaders as well as the Chamber Board Chair, Neil Blackman, and Chamber President & CEO, Pam Carnes.

January 31 State of the City Breakfast - IN WDSTK. Join fellow Woodstock residents at Woodstock City Church for Mayor Caldwell's State of the City address where he will deliver remarks about the accomplishments of the previous year and updates us on where the city is headed in 2025.

Registration and a networking breakfast starts at 7:45 am with the program beginning at 8:15 am.
